Roof refurbishment at Burger King Enfield

Commercial roofs are continually exposed to harsh weather conditions, UV degradation and general environmental wear. Refurbs was appointed to carry out the complete refurbishment of the existing metal roof at Burger King Enfield. The objective was to restore the roof's appearance, improve long-term protection and extend the service life of the existing roof covering without the cost and disruption associated with replacement.

The project began with a comprehensive assessment of the roof to determine the most appropriate preparation and coating specification. All roof surfaces were carefully prepared to remove contamination and create a suitable substrate for the specialist coating system. Particular attention was given to achieving consistent preparation across the entire roof to maximise coating adhesion and long-term performance.

Following preparation, a high-performance commercial roof coating system was professionally applied across the roof structure, transforming the appearance of the building while providing an additional protective barrier against future weathering.

Because the restaurant remained operational throughout the programme, careful planning and coordination were essential. Works were planned around the live restaurant, with access arrangements, protection and site controls coordinated around customers and staff.

The completed refurbishment renewed the roof's appearance and protective finish while retaining the existing sheets. The restaurant remained operational during the work.
