Complex roof shape
The roof included several sections and angles that made access and consistent coverage more demanding. The team planned the work around safe access equipment so every section could be reached and coated properly.

Contaminated surface
Years of weather exposure had left the roof with dirt, moss and organic growth. A low-pressure cleaning method was used to clear the surface without damaging the tiles, followed by an anti-biocide treatment to reduce future growth.

Durable coating requirement
The client needed more than a cosmetic refresh. The roof required a protective coating capable of withstanding weather, UV exposure and pollutants while still delivering a clean, uniform appearance.

Consistent finish
Angles, edges and detailed areas can easily look patchy if sprayed unevenly. Airless spray technology was used to build up coverage in controlled coats, with special attention given to corners and transitions.

Process

The roof was first cleaned using low-pressure washing to remove debris and surface contamination. An anti-biocide treatment was then applied to tackle moss, algae and fungal growth and help keep the surface cleaner for longer.

Once preparation was complete, the roof was coated using airless spray equipment. Multiple coats were applied to build protection and colour consistency across the full roof area, including the more intricate sections.

The team completed a final inspection and client walkthrough to confirm coverage, finish quality and overall appearance.

Results

The roof was restored with a sharper, more uniform finish and added protection against the elements. The airless coating created a smooth, professional result across the complex roof shape, improving kerb appeal while helping extend the life of the surface.
