Surface preparation
The project involved several exterior materials, so preparation was essential. The team cleaned the surfaces thoroughly, repaired defects in the render, and sanded filled areas smooth before any coating work began.

Coordinated colour scheme
The design used lighter grey on the uPVC windows, soffits, fascias and apex, with darker grey applied to the render and garden wall. This combination created contrast while keeping the overall appearance balanced and modern.

Detailing across multiple features
Edges, corners and changes in material all needed careful handling. Masking and priming were completed with precision so the sprayed finish would look clean across each surface and avoid overspray on surrounding areas.

Long-lasting finish
The coatings had to improve appearance while standing up to everyday weather exposure. Proper cleaning, priming and spray application helped create a durable finish with a smooth, consistent appearance.

Process

The team began with a full clean-down to remove dirt and loose material. Cracks and holes in the render were filled and sanded, creating a uniform base for coating. Surrounding surfaces were then masked and protected before priming and spraying began.

Five uPVC windows were sprayed in a light grey, followed by the soffits, fascias and apex to create a connected look. The render and garden wall were finished in a deeper grey, giving the property more definition and making the architectural lines stand out.

Results

The home was given a modern grey palette that improved kerb appeal and brought the exterior together. The combination of light and dark tones added depth, while the careful preparation and spray application produced a refined finish across the different materials.
